Aims

Luton Arts Council is an umbrella organisation looking after the interests of our affiliated societies as well as that of the local artistic community.

We aim to:

Publicity artwork for Arena's 1999/2000 tour of "The Wind in the Willows."

• Encourage the understanding and appreciation of the Arts in the Luton area.
• Act as a link between the local authority and the local artistic community.
  
  
• Co-ordinate artistic efforts in Luton.
• Promote artistic presentations and activities.

The Luton Arts Council was formed on the 10th September 1962 taking over from the Arts League of Luton.
