Youth Arts Bursaries

Luton Arts Council offers two bursaries of up to £350 to assist young people who are about to embark on professional training in the arts.

The bursary was the idea of Helen Lewis, founder of professional company Arena Touring Theatre and is intended for young people who have finished school and are moving into further education.
To be eligible the person must reside in the Borough of Luton at the time of writing and be aged up to 25 years old.
If you feel you are eligible then you should apply for an application form to the Youth Arts Training Executive, Mr. Bill Smullen, 18 Church Street, Lidlington, Beds, MK43 0RJ.

All Art forms are considered and completed application forms should be returned by the 1st September.

Last year's bursary was split between 3 applicants. We recently received a card from Aaron Spendelow, who was one of those awarded,
